13pt dog feels right to me. Not to be negative. Quite the opposite. I truly am impressed given where BK started:

FROM:
A new HC raze/rebuild of culture, beginning with 27 schollies, a new QB, kicker (highest scoring position on roster), new S&C, 2 new coordinators with new playbooks to install 3 years in a row, etc.

TO:
Top 10 in CFP with a reasonable shot at beating Bama year 1. Likely or not, color me impressed. Very.

The future is very bright!

LSU needs more "bad fits" as HC

Bama's o line isn't great.

Bama is committing penalties at a higher rate than usual.

Their defense is having trouble on the backend.

Lsu's defense will need to play the run well and lsu's o line will need to protect well.

Bama has been a terrible road team over the last two years compared to their usual performance. They lost two games (one to a crappy aTm team who O beat in his last game and 1 against a great Tenn. team this year).

They also won three other road games by a combined total of 5 points. They barely escaped against a bad UF team, needed 4 OTs to beat a crappy Auburn team and won by 1 point against just a decent Texas team this year. Usually, I would say last year has nothing to do with this year, but there seems to be a strong pattern with many of the same players back this year. They just haven't been as mentally tough overall on the road as Bama teams of the past.

Add in LSU having an elite running QB who is hitting on all cylinders, better WRs (in my opinion), and a D that is way more difficult now with Perkins playing more and you have a team that has a fair chance to knock off Bama.

it’s Oct 11,1997, undefeated #1 UF , winner of 25 Straight sec games , vs #14 LSU 15 point underdog. LSU 28 UF 21!

Bama's offense has looked outright anemica in most road games. LSU defenses has shown it can shut down offenses. LSU offense can light up defenses. Bama's secondary is supsect.

For some reason I just keep getting that 1997 LSU/FLORIDA game feel- setup. I know the circumstances are a little different but the result would be very similar...

Game will be close for a half but Bama pulls away because Denbrock and Daniels just aren't good at all and then everyone realizes that again when we play an actual good team.

So you're telling me the QB who just won the SEC Offensive Player of the Week and Davey O'Brien National QB of the Week while breaking the LSU QB single-season rushing record with 4 games still left to go is no good at all?

A QB completing 69% of his passes who has accounted for 21 TDs to 1 Int. while his team is tied for 1st in the SEC West is no good at all? I'm just asking you again in case you didn't realize how retarded you sound saying that.

Ha! No, just that crazy, unexpected things can happen without a rational explanation.

It's LSU Alabama. It's a weird game. No matter how good/shite either team is it has historically been a good game if nothing else. We have an actual coach for the last time in 18 years. We're hot and playing loose. There are zero expectations on this team. Going into this season most expected in the 6-7 win range. I feel like the team and staff were in that ballpark as well. The pressure is on Alabama.

I don't expect us to win this game but for the first time in a long arse time (bar 2019) I feel like we have more than a punchers chance.

Well..they could easily have 3 losses…it’s not like they’re the usual scary scary Bama. They’re real good..that’s about it.

Let me think about it for 120 hours or so. I’ll have an answer then.
