know nothing about him. HS team,HS stars/rankings, strengths, things he needs to work on.

Thanks.

I’ve noticed he doesn’t break down to make tackles. He has speed, but so far it’s been a weakness because he’s flown right by the QB a few times. He needs to break down more and wrap up.

He was a four star recruited out of Livonia, La. Got offers from Nebraska, LaTech, and Indiana. 13 tackles this season.

He was a four star out of Livonia. I watched him play 15-20 games in high school. He played both ways and as a running back he was electric with the ball in his hand. Great kid from a great family.

That seems to be a problem with the entire defense. As good as the unit it, they miss a lot of tackles behind the line of scrimmage.

Agreed. Hopefully he’s just continuing to improve. He missed a tackle on a dump off on one of MSST last drives....whiffed on an easy sack a few plays later (although White has done this several times this year). In the UGA game he got run over by a much smaller WR Hardeman on the kickoff that was fumbled. Also, IIRC he was in on the drive that miami was able to drive down and get their 1st TD in week 1.

I’m pretty sure I only notice negative things

I've noticed that all year. During the Moo State game, the biggest difference I saw between their guys, top to bottom, and ours was precisely that. Their guys wrap up and tackle. Not going for the big hit alone. Hit hard and wrap up. That's on the position coaches to stress that to the players. The DC needs to make it a point of emphasis to the position coaches.

Hopefully he sees this as a huge opportunity to show-out and plays out of his mind.

Normally he does. Last game he was arm tackling a ton. I think he can clean it up by the Bama game.
