Payton Maning ain't no duel threat QB!!!!!
He dont play in the NCAA and hasnt for about 18 yrs. Look at the Top 25 and most of the QB's for these teams are capable of running the ball and some are outright dual threat style like JFF. The game is changing and we are not changing with it.
When the QB is no threat to run or if he tries to run then you have eliminated a major dimension of the offensive scheme from the playbook.

I guess you wouldn't have wanted Luck in his heisman nominee year with 453 rush yards and 3 TDs. The Peyton Mannings and Tom Brady's are dying out. Look at Aaron Rogers and Andy Dalton, both can run and have good mobility. Rivals and the like just like to label all black QBs dual threats when some don't even run that much.
Jefferson wasn't an option QB but Miles turned him into that. Bridgewater does not run or at least not good. Geno doesn't run a lot either. The old ways of football are slowly moving aside. Spread is in at all levels of play and video game numbers are being had.
