I think pete is a great example of how it takes more than just "one or two great players to win in basketball" like I keep hearing the rantards say on this board referring to recruiting. We struggled with arguably the best basketball player of all time on our team.

Because one sport is doing poorly? At the end of the day, his contract negotiation with Miles will determine Alleva's future, not the direction of the basketball program. Anyone thinking otherwise is foolish.

yeah but we can't get any players of even DII caliber. i mean its not like we just signed a mcdonalds all-american and had someone make the freshman all-sec team.
