The bars there aren't allowed to accept cash

and no, I have no idea why but would guess for speed. It really screws the bartenders over on any potential tips

It's pretty similar to the rest of the stadium. I've gotten pretty loud at games. However, I've been asked to sit down by an old man before. (-_-)

We were drunk as fuk for the Ole Miss game.

Will I get some weird looks for wearing my McNeese gear? Was given stadium club tix. I'm and LSU fan any other day but I'm a former cowboy. Looking forward to endless grub!

You are asking if you will get weird looks wearing McNeese gear at an LSU - McNeese game

You can wear pretty much anything you want but I wouldn't go up in cut-offs and tank tops. The atmosphere is laid back and casual. Most folks up there don't get too loud inside but some will whoop it up if there sitting outside the glass. Don't eat....you'll need the room. Bring cash for liquor...enjoy.

Plenty, it's not the stadium club is some exclusive area. It's just a more expensive ticket.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the last several years the bars have only accepted credit cards. I'm not sure why people keep saying to bring plenty cash.

You have to dress like a frat boy - coat and tie. No hats inside.

Bring a credit card, no cash for booze.. Tip with cash.. No doubles so if you want one, order two drinks, light on the mixer..

Need to know how to talk to the ladies then, and know how to tip.

Nah, there were several Bama fans up there for that game, and it was alright.

I have season tickets in the south stadium club. I got them mainly because of having a young family and needing conveniences, like nicer bathroom, AC, better food, room in the seat instead of a SEZ bleacher.

My biggest concern was that it would be a corporate environment.

I was dead wrong. It is all families. Kids everywhere. They had to issue statements to urge us not to have kids unattended or throwing footballs, etc. It is a family environment.

The people are fans, but more like level headed fans. They support LSU and the program (alums) but don't get all bent out of shape like a die hard.

Wear your Mcneese gear. The staff is very nice. The fans are very nice as well. Like I said its mostly families who enjoy the experience, win or lose. Although it was rough at the Bama game.

Don't eat before you go in. Alcohol is credit card only. Reasonable prices unlike the Saints game. Just bring tip money and picture ID.

Free ice cream, free food, free coffee, soft drinks, tea, etc. There is also a small tiger gear shop.

It opens 3 hours before the game. I suggest you get there at least 1.5- 2 hrs before to get a seat at the concession or sofas.

Have fun!

Mariner, stop lying to the guy. He wants the truth.

The truth is that the Stadium Club has very restrictive rules. You must wear gold pants or you can't get in. That is the required uniform of members. You can wear any shirt, even a McNeese shirt, but the gold pants are a must. They don't care what kind of hat you wear, except that it must have a full brim, all the way around. They generally frown on hounds-tooth patters as that suggests you are an Alabama fan.

Every time you stand to do anything, go to the bathroom, get drinks, anything, you are required to clap twice. Even if you see some people who don't do it, ignore them, they aren't members and the members don't approve of what they are doing even if no one says anything.

When buying anything at the bar, you should carry a money clip for all of your cash and cards. Wallets suggest that you are not a member. Only tip in increments of $5.

Drinks should be consumed within ten feet of the bar. It isn't a hard and fast rule, but it is what is expected of members.

When you sit down, clap once. That signals that you are not getting up.

Don't throw up in your hat.

This. And just wear whatever you want within reason. You'll stick out if you're in a cut off shirt or jean shorts

U clearly have never been to the SC. Can't even buy drinks with cash(card only). If you want to tip when you buy drinks, that's the only reason you would need cash.

It's laid back. Same type of attire as the rest of the stadium with a higher concentration of loafers and khaki. Purple polo, khaki shorts, and sandals in perfectly normal.

Food is good. Definitely bring an appetite. Buy two whisky drinks and combine them. They aren't supposed to serve doubles. Consider yourself prepared. Enjoy the game

For you, I believe the expected standard of attire and conduct would be something like this...

Ideally, your wife or date should look like this...

But, if that would be outkicking your coverage too much, more like this...
