With all the talk about how a schedule gets much easier, I thought I'd look into the strength of schedule numbers compared to other SEC teams.

Current Strength of Schedule - national rank

Auburn - 2nd
Ole Miss - 4th
Florida - 6th
Alabama - 11th
South Carolina - 14th
Georgia - 22nd
Kentucky - 24th
Arkansas - 26th
Missouri - 28th
Vanderbilt - 30th
Texas A&M - 34th
LSU - 35th
Mississippi State - 36th
Tennessee - 39th

Predicted Strength of Schedule

Florida - 1st
Ole Miss - 3rd
South Carolina - 6th
Auburn - 8th
Kentucky - 9th
Georgia - 13th
Alabama - 16th
Arkansas - 19th
Texas A&M - 23rd
Vanderbilt - 26th
Missouri - 29th
LSU - 30th
Mississippi State -40th
Tennessee - 41st

our OOC SOS brings our overall SOS way down. Our OOC SOS is 175th nationally. Our last three series have been against the 6th, 7th, and 17th RPI teams. Not surprisingly, outside the Southern game, we've actually been good in OOC games with a 19-3 record.

Yea this is a terrible metric. Our OOC record is fine. You gotta look at SEC play only

Where do you find this? If they have OOC SOS rankings surely they have in conference SOS rankings right?

unfortunately no

We are 2-10 against Q1 teams and 20-5 against everyone else. (Q1 is RPI #1-25 at home and #1-60 on the road)
