Since you called me out by name, I’ll pitch in. I am an old Tiger as well. My first season of going to games was in 1958, when we moved back to La. I got spoiled. The years that followed had the thrills of victory and the agony of defeat.

I am encouraged by the upgrade in the coaching staffs that have been assembled in all of the sports. I’m expecting good hires to be announced soon to complete our fb staff. I also feel that we will upgrade our lines through transfers. The future looks bright for our Tigers.

Good Times.

My first LSU game was the Wendell Harris, Jerry Stovall group in the early 60’s. It’s amazing the things that have transpired since that time. We will never beat 2019, but I’m stoked that we’re going to see excellence across the board for the upcoming few years! Thanks for responding,.

That fence has got to be built with NIL money from boosters. LSU is going to find out soon enough if LSU has enough boosters that want championship football. The price to play has gotten astronomically higher.
When players are getting huge money from out of state teams, it will be incumbent for LSU to at least match the offer, or these kids will chase the money like we have never seen before. Like I said, this is really big money now, not just $500 in a handshake. That won't get us a 3 star these days.
Unless something is done very quickly to stop this nonsense and the ease to move from team to team, college football as we have known and loved for many many years, will cease to exist.

Thanks. I enjoyed the comments along the way. It just seems everything is lining up correctly. When there is chaos, you need process. We are somewhat handicapped because of the portal explosion, but we will use the portal to be a net positive.

‘For example, Ricks is a great athlete and his loss will be felt. But if I am playing chess with a choice to lose Ricks and pick up an all American left tackle as compensation, i will do that every day and twice on Sunday. Geaux Tigers.
