Until they weren't. What the USC film showed me was that USC had a quarterback who could stretch plays and make something happen when the original call broke down. Wisconsin's defense stayed disciplined. That it a sign of good coaching.

Watch the A&M game for a contrast. There was so much lack of focus and discipline on both teams. It was hard to watch. LSU's offense and special teams were awful. A&M looked like a playground offense. That was an offensive game.

I wouldn't call gaining 286 yards of offense when you're averaging 438 "having their way with," but that's just me.

they must have gained all 286 years in that video sample that was linked. In that video usc ran all over that defense. i posted on what i watched, i got more to do than look up stats to games of teams that are meaningless to me.

Well yeah, considering it was a video of all their offensive plays and all.

65 yards on 28 carries. Domination

And yet you have enough time to watch videos of those meaningless teams and post your riveting thoughts for us all to see

Yesterday, my therapist advised me to take an iffy situation this week and turn it into something positive. Here goes:

After watching the Texas A&M replay, I believe our passing game will only get better.

Haha you're clueless man. Only 286 yards and I'd say half of that was from Kessler extending plays and finding open guys. He looked pretty damn good on his feet with all of the pressure from what looked liked a vey well coached Aranda defense. That guy had 3 consecutive sacks and missed on at least two more from what I saw.

After watching the Wisconsin defense against Nebraska, it is immediately apparent that almost every play, the players are in the perfect position. You don't see blown assignments due to where they are lined up or anything. Whenever Nebraska made a play, it was because the Wisconsin player just missed a tackle or tried to jump a route. It was almost never because they were out of position. It was also cool to see their defensive line slant upfront. It forced the RB to either make an extreme cutback, or to keep going further outside but hang in the backfield and wait.

This is what I am excited about. I'm excited for our players to actually be in the position to make plays. All too often did we see blown coverages due to being lined up wrong. I think Aranda will fix that and it will be glorious.
