It's just funny because this group of seniors has gone through a lot to make it to Omaha
bounced in regionals by UCLA
didn't even make NCAAs
lost last year in Supers to Stony Brooke
God forbid they get fricking excited about getting to Omaha...how dare they show emotion

From the looks of it over there very few are actual baseball fans and enjoy the game of baseball. Sounds like they are just on the bandwagon of baseball because it's not football season.

First off - I don't believe 1/8 of the chit ou fans claim from 03
With that - yes we have obnoxious fans in tiger stadium and a reputation of being hooligans - but Alex box is a different group into opinion - classy fans, knowledgable fans and those kids playing are good kids.

Every experience I've had with OK fans has been negative. I think their players (bball, fball, etc.) are generally classy, but their fans are terrible. Elitist, weird, boring, and kind of awkward. Not to mention sore losers.
I remember some ancient OK fan was claiming that Saban spied on their team Bill-Belichek style at the 2003 sugar bowl, and that's the only reason our defense was able to stop their vaunted offense.

Had an encounter with some Oklahomans via the wife's family a few months ago. Some I've never met before. I walked in the room all smiles and bubbly like I usually do when meeting some new foks. Just a typical Southern greeting for the most part.
All I got was stares. They shook my hand, said not one word, and stared at me like I was from another planet.
I just think they are very dry people in general. Just sort of homey. They DO NOT like in your face. Not aggressive personalities.
