Some food for thought Tiger fans.

No matter what the term may be, positiger, negatiger, realitiger, Miles hater, Miles lover and the many others. The one thing that I'm sure of, over the past 2 and a half seasons, I can be accused of being all of these at one time or another. Now I know there are some "hard core" fans that may not admit the same, but we all go through these emotions. But, the most important thing right now is to back this team, regardless of our misgiving about Les Miles.
That being said, this week may very well determine the direction of this program. A solid win on the road is a must for Les Miles in order to save face with the fanbase and the media. A loss may be a pill to bitter for most fans to swallow. Going into the Swamp will be very tough for the players, but a road game is probably the best medicine for both the players and Les Miles right now. If there ever was a time for Les Miles to act and/or prove he's capable of coaching in the SEC, there's no time like the present.
BTW, a win this week would also help us fans restore some hope for the success of this season.

People say this every week but in this case it's true.
We haven't had a big win in a long time. If we win - we're going 10-2 at least. If we lose (and look bad) I'm really concerned about the rest of the year (and program).

I completely agree. I thought the UNC game would be very pivotal until they had to start their JV squad.
We have lost two in a row to the now "premier" teams in the SEC, Florida and Bama. Just three years ago, we were the "premier" program in the SEC.
With Auburn and Arky improving by the year, I think this game goes a long ways towards proving the direction of the program.

doesn't this statement contradict itself?

i agree, but much hinges (with me anyway) on how we play. if we commit 9 penalties, many of them stupid ones by upperclassmen, and we drop a bunch of passes, fumble while trying for one meaning less yard, not know where the first down markers are, not line up on the los, make clock faux pas, etc, etc. we'd better win. winning keeps the wolves at bay. if we do the above things and lose, the tiger nation meltdown will be of such unimagianable proportions that no telling what will happen. this is the craziest year i have ever seen.

Couldn't agree more. This game could be the deciding point in Miles' future at LSU, especially with recruits like Jarvis Landry now raising concerns about the offense.

I like this train of thought. Could we apply it to the first 5 games this season.
