Griggs is a junior and we'll probably have Thornhill either in right or left. Dawson will be starting at 2B. Only question mark I see is a catcher. I think Satchel was behind Jaquish.

I continually read about the "potential" some of these highly recruited players have. Mainly Doyle and Springfield. But, that "potential" has never materialized. So, if players in high school now see that highlybrecruited LSU players haven't been coached up, why would they want to be a Tiger? Furthermore, why would any pitcher commit to LSU knowing they will have no run support? Hoover could have gone anywhere after Stanford. It hard to win games when you offense scores no more than one run.

We need better coaching on the offensive side. It can make or break a player.
