Softball plays first fall scrimmage tonight

The team plays a professional team called Texas Charge. LSU will face Bailey Landry and Brittany Mack again
It starts for 5 P.M at tiger park
If you want to see first hand a glimpse of what this years team will look like, definitely come out and watch
A lot of new faces will be playing. We add 4 true freshman and two transfers.
Caccamise, true freshman is expected to win the job at catcher.
Torina has adjusted the way they will handle the offense this off season. Will be interesting to see who can emerge from the fall.
I wouldn't take wins/losses very seriously, fall is all about molding the team and reps

LSU hasn't released their schedule but I have heard LSU will host a tournament in LSU's park in March, Baylor is one of the teams in it.

There was a change. We played the Scrap Yard Dawgs with Bailey and Sahvanna playing for them. I didn't ask why the change, but was glad to see us play. Savannah did wear her Chicago Bandits jersey and Bailey wore a Dawgs jersey.
We won 3-2... 7 strong innings by Walljasper. Also some good performances by the returnees and the newcomers. I was impressed with our defense overall and we got to Lauren Haeger once we went threw the lineup once and adjusted.
I came away very impressed for the first fall scrimmage of the year. Promises to be a great season!

Walljasper is such a stud and she is a great leader on this team. We need Hoover and the other seniors to take a page out of her book and step up in selfless leadership roles this year.
