The bad news is we got swept, good news is schedule gets somewhat lighter after this series i believe. Hopefully the bats wake up soon.

You said it.. JUNIOR team. It was probably a little political. She's a sweet girl with lots of talent. Just not ready for this level of pitching. Again, she won't lead off next year.

One last thing i'm sure people will jump ship after the sweep but i can promise you nobody will want to see LSU in a regional or super regional!

You do realize its very difficult and a huge honor to make the junior national team as well. She wouldn't be on it if she sucked.
We can all agree the slappers have not been good at all this season. We are practically at the half way point of the season and Landry is literally almost has the same amount of strikeouts as all of last year.
Whats concerning is how lost we look at the plate. Even the announcer noticed our mechanics were not good at all this weekend. We kept swinging at balls rolling on the ground and at pitches high out the zone. Then we kept watching strikes going across the plate. I am not sure how I can explain this performance. Florida is very good, but there was no reason for us to lose the second game last night.
I guess its back to the drawing board.

I have never discounted her ability, or talent. Just isn't carrying over at the plate. And she surely isn't a centerfield. Maybe a right fielder. But her year and half at LSU.... I just know her gig at lead off is... Wait already has come to an end. Bianka stated today and it's Nickey Dawson's position for the next 4. Gonna be fought t find a place for Emily.

Well who do you want to lead off right now? No one on the team is hitting consistently right now. Its not just Griggs, its everyone. Serrett looked fine at the plate but not much else

Bailey. Or leave B there. But Griggs has no place in the lineup. Too many bats in the lineup. Beth, in my opinion, has tried too much to change things and it messes with the girls heads. The one move she made this year, one that I said was coming, was Serret at SS and B at third.

For whatever reason I think this sweep will do the ladies some good. They need to focus on getting back to the basics.

I need to start having more realistic expectations once SEC play starts for all LSU teams. We're competitive in most of the programs but not quite conference championship caliber in any of them excluding Golf. I hope Football gets one this year! I feel we have a shot.
