I am not the crazy LSU fans who gets crazy over ULL. I have a lot of respect for them. Great coach, but yea their hitters swings are just a thing of beauty. There are major difference in the way hitters hit and that is because of the coaching. I know Beth does not deal with the hitters and only works with the pitchers but she is still the head coach and its still her responsibility.
I think quite a few of these girls have a lot of raw power that does not translate at all on gameday and its due to our mechanics at the plate.
I am not going on to bash dobson. I like the guy a lot and he really is a classy man, great family as well. I just don't think what we have been doing at the plate the past couple years has been working and I am not the only one noticing. Many non LSU fans who respect LSU also see it. I think Howard is not near as bad as what he is made out to be at times but its infuriating to see zero adjustments at all. I am not asking for a top ten offense launching bombs every other inning. I just want a solid offense that has good basic fundamentals and can put up a decent amount of runs.
We can't keep going down this route either. Pitching is going to break again, its just the nature of the game but we need significant changes. Unfortunately I don't think we see anything major until this off season.
My thing is when you have practically an ENTIRE team, with players who are highly regarded and recruited heavily by everyone coming out of HS just struggle really badly and continuously, its apparent that this is a coaching problem at the plate. I know people want to say we have no talent or we are young but its just not the case at all.
I'll still be here supporting the girls every game though. Win or lose I will always support them

Funny, I have been saying Quinn and Griggs are very deserving starters. Everyone yelling for Dawson, who I will still sayndeseeces more of a shot...but I am very confident she cannot play at this level. Them everyone yelling for Alliya in Centerfield. Holy smokes did you see Alliya throw home tonight? That was so bad, yet our centerfielder displayed what I would at his one of the best arms in the SEC tonight...both with strength and accuracy.
End of the day it is really simple. This team is just not deep enough with Talent. Landry, Griggs, Jaquish, Quinn, Serett, Smith, Walljasper, and Hoover have all proven they can win. Most of them have been in back to back world series.
However they have not gotten better, that 100% gals at the fear of Howard Dobson they should have gotten better and they havent!
Our incoming class has talent in Doyle, Andrews, and Springfield, and vertic still out on Dawson, but they just look so unprepared to hit at this level! Again, only can blame one person for them not being prepared Howard Dobson
This program needs a change, and thar change needs to be at the hitting coach position! Let's face it Beth can coach the pitchers, and she could use some offensive help!

How come you consistently shite on Dawson? It truly does get nauseating. Did she shite in your cereal? Did she break your heart? I legitimately have zero clue how you continue to make such an asinine remarks like "I am very confident she cannot play at this level?" Explain to me wtf "playing at this level" means to you? Batting .333 with an OBP of .459 isn't good enough in limited time?

Here we go again. You went out of your way to say "verdict still out on Dawson." My point proven. You taking a shot at a player just because. Tell us Bum, why is the verdict still out on Dawson as opposed to other Freshmen? You'll make up some BS and try to justify it by saying "I've been saying all season" "she's just no good" "she can't play at this level." Totally disagree....8 regular season games remaining. 6 of which are against 2 teams we should have great chance to sweep. Still ranked well. Very strong chance we are in a regional possibly still hosting

maybe because they are also a great in state program here? with respected coaches? Whom many of us know and maybe like? No it is not irrelevant. That is simple mindedness. Don't hate, appreciate. leave akiya alone. i enjoyed watching her get struck out my by niece years back at brusly plus getting run down between 2nd and 3rd. yes we pulled a major upset that day. I wish her the best now though!

Did I do something wrong? I was just paying respect to ULL and giving an example of a beautiful hitting mechanics from a game I saw earlier.

no, not at all. I am on your side in regards to this. SOme people have "issues" and we are seeing it now coming out loud and clear.
Remember, the more successful and bigger softball gets the more clown fans will come out the woodwork who do not know jack shite. I see it happening here already. SOme here already cannot handle the facts about coach lotief that much is apparent.so much butthurt.
