Andrews getting better

Agree, she should have been in the line up since day 1. If she had 60 at bats under her belt she would be cemented in the outfield. She puts so much pressure on the defense. This freshman class is as advertised.

It's fun to watch her create pressure.

QUESTION....

What kind of attendance numbers do the softball games draw for non-conference games?

I was at the USM game in Hattiesburg and there were 1500 people there, 1561 to be exact. For them, in Hattiesburg, their non conference games seem to draw beween 450 and 700. Seems kind of high.

What about LSU softball non conference games? how many do they average in attendance?

So far this year I believe we are averaging about 1,600 per home game with a high of around 2,400 and a low of about 1,300.

And not one of 'em has been cheap. She hits tape measure blasts!

I couldn't see the game today but I heard they were all blasts. The one thing that impresses me the most is the depth, we had lots of freshmen and other new faces in earlier and there wasn't a drop off. It will all pay off down the road

Imagine what the other teams are thinking when they see Springfield hit a liner like that over the fence in centerfield. She may end up All-American this year if she keeps it up.

She is on pace to be up there with Jaquish freshmen year numbers. Jaquish as a freshman put up 17 homeruns, 9 doubles and 55 RBI. I can now understand why my buddy said everyone walked her in hs no matter what. She is every bit as powerful as Jaquish and Bell. Whats crazy is she wasn't even considered a top 200 prospect coming out of hs.
