Almost any game LSU has ever played against an unheralded opponent?
LOL- For every one you can submit, I can counter with 3 or more blowouts.
Just last year :
39 > UAB
32 > Kent
33 > MSU (unheralded )
32 > Furman

These games are also good PT for reserves and could be worse if Miles chose to hand out embarrassments that prove nothing.

We answered your question about games where we played down to our opponents. If bringing up blowouts make you feel better about this topic then go ahead, still doesn't change the fact that our level of play has not been consistent with 09 regular season being an exception as a whole.

bringing up blowouts
(multiple ones)disproves the statement

LSU tends to play down to the level of the competition.
It's a myth not supported by facts or stats (which I provided to the contrary), only a game here and there.
I'm sure I can pick out some shitty posts by you over the years, but I wouldn't go so far as to call your posting trend shite.

So one out of three consistently isn't considered a trend? LSU consistently has around two games a year that you just go "wtf is this team on the field tonight" when playing very lower tiered teams.

No I wouldn't say it's a trend unless there was a struggle with every low tier team. Maybe your definition of low tiered and mine are different. OM and Arky don't really fit the term and history proves are normally tough games when playing LSU.
If LSU wins vs Mcneese or USL by 22 points, I'd still say the game wasn't really in doubt even if not "pretty".
Since 2000 I can think of very few games vs "low tier teams" I was nervous about. Maybe La Tech '09, Troy '04 and '08, and UAB '00

I think lsu plays to the level of its opponent a lot. But this is something they've done my entire life, not just under one coach.

There are a lot of games that were close but we never trailed. Some of those were never in doubt but the score line just suggest it was close. But hey, its not like we haven't beaten higher ranked teams through out the history of the program. Because we have.

Wouldn't count on it. LSU tends to play down to the level of the competition.

I travel around the country a lot, and I assure you every teams' fans think this is unique to their team. If I tell a Florida State fan, "The Seminoles are playing The Citadel this Saturday; should be a cakewalk." He'll respond, "Well, the thing about Florida State is..." And without him saying it, I know what's coming - the same BS about a unique tendency to play to the competition. It's human nature. And we're all recruiting humans.

They are recruiting a bunch of crappy 2-stars and low 3-stars

If Wisco fans would show a little more recruiting fervor and buy more Rivals and 247 subscriptions you would see the 2 and 3 stars become 3 and 4 stars.
