So what's the latest projection on MIlls?

He's probably not ready to start yet. Does he get a little playing time this week or will it take longer? Anyone have updated info?

What was the original projection and how long has it been? Three weeks so far?

Original report was 4-6 weeks and I believe that was a couple weeks before season. I think SC in a limited role and UF full go.

Comparing last season's Mills to how we've seen Jefferson play, who do we like more going forward?

Getting him back for Florida would be great. Good SEC game and then a cupcake before going into the bye and then Bama. We'll need him for sure against Ole Miss and aTm with how much they'll chuck it around.

I like Mills' cover skills in the slot better than Thomas. I think that will be the big change.

Jefferson is wrecking people in the run game. Mills is more the cover guy who could come down and cover the slot. We'll use both extensively.

Mills has started every game and is a proven talent. Going forward I'd like to see his leadership back on the field.

Someone else suggested we replace Thomas in the Nickel with Mills. I think they were using Donte more in the nickel last game, but I personally think Mills, Jefferson, Adams, White, and Toliver on the Field at the same time sounds great.

This. LSU plays nickel a ton so 4-2-5 is basically our base defense.

Like I said above 4-2-5 is really our base defense. Mills typically slides down to cover the slot.

As long as we can get him back before November. We need him covering in nickel. Jefferson needs to be on the field as much as possible too.
