Im still scratching my head at Lee's performance and seemingly unnerved presence. I thought he was past that shite, hopefully it was just a one game hiccup.

Ive been a Lee bandwagoneer all year but CLM absolutely made the right call by going with JJ full-time for most of the 2nd half.

Who would you start if you were coach?

You go back to what won you every game by at least 13 points the first 8 games and averaged 39 points per game. There's no other defense like Bama's.

Agree with you that CLM made the right call. That being said I think Lee needs to start. He won't see another D like that and LSU needs the down field passing he provides.

I agree with the QB's decisions in the Bama game, but I think the next game should be handled like the Bama game didn't happen. Lee as the starter with some Jefferson sprinkled in.

Lee, with JJ playing like he has up to and nearly 40% to 50% of the snaps depending upon situation.

It's a partnership...we need to grasp that.

Neither could really pass. But Jefferson could run and that was the difference.

I'd stay with Lee.

Lee, against WKU. And let him throw 30 passes. Now against OSU...?

Starting QB is just semantic now. Both will figure heavily into the remaining game plans and the hot hand will get the majority reps, as it should be.

Start JL and run the game plan that has produced big points against regular defenses. Alabama was no ordinary defense.

I start JL without hesitation and I let him air it out most of the time he is in there. But, I also let JJ get about half of the snaps.

Jarrett Lee. Hes been the starter all year long, and he is a better passer. You're just not going to be able to light it up passing against Alabama's defense. JJ added some mobility that allowed LSU to spread the field. He's what was needed Saturday night. No need to change strategy at this point.

Lee starts and plays 2 series, then alternates with Jefferson until we have a 3 TD lead. Then Lee sits, and JJ alternates with Mett.

That's the plan for both WKU and Ole Miss - with the caveat that Ole Miss it will need to be 4 TDs (or 3 TDs and the 4th QTR) for Mett to play.

Lee, if it ain't broke don't fix it. I'm sure we'll see more of JJ though.
