They collected the insurance money and we have to go play there if the SEC mandates it, so they would get those funds also.

LSU on the other hand has to pay USA $1.5mil and we lose a home game.

We need to use the FL law and "stand our ground".

No insurance company will pay off for losses from missing the game if that game played.

I think they're going to have a hard time collecting insurance on this game not being played considering games were played all around them this weekend.

Good point, that gives the insurance company a out.

We can't be forced to play.

I agree though, the game should be played but Sankey is not going to force us to play them anymore than he forced them to play us over the weekend.

Here's a bigger issue; UF will have an extra weekend to bring in recruits.

Ummmm not really

They are swapping a home game for a home game.

We will both have 1 less weekend

I don't know when, but this game has to happen.

I agree. It has to happen.

But he can't forcefully make the game happen. What I mean is "do this or else."

I heartily agree with you though. The game has to happen. Having it not happen helps out UF.

Right, we can refuse to play any game. We forfeit the game, but they can't force us to play it.

Doesn't this apply to Florida too?

Not trying to be a jerk.

That's what I have been led to understand. They can't be forced to play. We can't be forced to play for the same reason.

So the only other alternative is a forfeit and given that this fiasco has taken place because of UF's athletic administration and Sankey's ineptness to do his job duties,
it only makes sense that should this game not be amicably agreed on by both sides to be played, the only other choice is for Florida to forfeit the game.

Not trying to be disrespectful or anything. Am I correct with this thinking?

And what is UF going to tell the recruits?

How much integrity their administration has?

The insurance company would not pay out if the game is rescheduled

Insurance may pay for cost of the buyouts if Nov 19th is the day.
