Consistently ranked loudest stadium in the country for years and years.

LSU-- Bama, seasons on the line, Nick Saban, Les Miles, perfect weather & night game all add up to totally off the hook crowd. We all know what it's gonna be like in the Stadium tomorrow night.

Stadium will be at capacity. That capacity is up almost 10k & the expansion holds even more noise in.

This all adds up to one thing. It's gonna be louder than the Ole Miss game. And my ears are still ringing from that.

College football games in the Superdome are louder than Tiger Stadium. My ears bleed in the Dome.

Yes, and only thing could curtail is the darn CBS commercial breaks every few minutes that breaks the momentum, but expect a record noise level!

This. Amazing how loud that place can get when LSU is playing. 2004 vs OK was LOUD.

bullshite. College football games in the Dome are Bowl games, that means half the crowd is one team half the crowd is the other team.

That means only 1/2 the crowd is cheering at any given time.

Without a doubt the worst part of the game day experience.

I still remember watching the 2010 game and coming back from commercial after going ahead 21-14.

Verne: in case your wondering, this is not a replay, they haven't stopped cheering.

They are paying the SEC a ton for rights to broadcast their games. The commercials are the price we pay. Plus, it's a great opportunity to take a whizz and not miss any action.

Loudest experience of my life was playing pre-game at the National Championship game in Jan 2004.
