So Jimbo benched his best WR for wearing arm sleeves?

Who is also the son of a damn good former NFL WR for the Panthers. I think he’s just looking for ways to get fired and get that buyout at this point. A&M is going to break the record if number of transfers at the end of the year that might not ever be matched again.

well to be fair arm sleeves decreases friction for holding on to the football whilst running so I can kind of understand that...
But Jimbo is a doucher and shouldn't prevent something that a lot of players wear

Sounds like a player trying to project blame onto someone else for something he did wrong. No way in hell this is why he was suspended.

He's a charlatan. Just when he does or says something so stupid you couldn't possibly think of any way that he could be worse he finds a way to prove you wrong. Absolutely worthless and picked fights with two of the worst coaches to fight with in Kiffin and Saban. Wonder how he feels knowing he lost to two clowns? Maybe I'm giving him too much credit in thinking he even has an ability to be introspective at all.

I can understand why a coach may not want the player to wear them. However, the bigger issue is not whether Jimbo was right or not, but that he has a player willing to accept being benched instead of doing what the coach told him to do. Then, he posts about it on social media.
Assuming this is accurate, when you have a key player essentially saying "FU, I'd rather not play than do what you tell me" that is a HUGE red flag.

There's no doubt more to the story but the guy has played with the same arm sleeves multiple times. Not saying he'd be right to not take them off but it would be dumb as hell to draw a line now and not the Miss St, Florida, and Bama games when he was wearing them.

Are you really that dumb and naive to think they did this? Definitely more to the story. He likely broke a rule, they disciplined him, now he's trying to clown them and make them look dumb. A sign of immaturity.

Well currently there's more information from the player than there is from the staff. It's on them to clarify what exactly occurred so they can save face. If they don't then they actually just don't give a shite or think it's important enough to address; however, given the relations between TAMU and the public opinion right now... you tell me who people are going to believe more. I'd try to address as much BS as I could to try and save what little recruiting opportunities we would have left.

That’s a bad look for Jimbo’s program. Not the rule, but the fact that a player broke the rule, got punished for breaking the rule, & publicly criticized the rule.
Side effect of paying this players like they can do whatever they want.
