Meh. I guess I have just been too busy. First year in a while...I know. I did one at home and it looked bad. I didn't get to watch as much hoops this year. Marriage will do that.

A reasonable question gets a ridiculous response. Guess that's how you get a billion posts, though. Thanks for the insight.

if state and tennessee were to be left out (i think at least 1 gets in) would the NIT take 4 sec teams (state, OM, tennessee, LSU) ?

Certainly capable of being a 4 seed or 3.

just looking at the RPI, and the way the NCAA bubble looks. I'd say 5 is much more likely than 3. 4 could happen.

yea i was gonna say a 4-5 seed, maybe 6 depending on the bubble.

probably in.

Its helpful if you have a history of big crowds recently, else you are a road team.

Not necessarily. Kentucky played a game at Memorial Coliseum in 2009 and North Carolina played one at Carmichael Auditorium in 2010.

Parker Ag Center here we come.

I personally think that with the win over ARky and then the good play of today against the number 1 team in the nation and some signature wins against tourny teams like Marquette, Bama, possible MSU or Ole Miss could get us in the NIT and may be make some waves like Bama did last year and build on that for next year which is certainly better than the last 2 years.
