So if Alleva is all in and at point of no return (Which seems apparent)

And Jimbo changes his mind or the deal gets too complicated and he pulls back...
1. How does Alleva address the buyout monies with no coach to the money people?
Joe addresses Boosters: "Yeah, well uhh guys, Coach Miles is gone like you wanted, but I still need the 15 million available while I get this coach search cranked up and underway"
Crowd of Boosters: "Wut did you say?"
Joe: "No Jimbo"
Crowd of Angry Boosters: " I think you have a 15 million dollar problem Joe and you probably should start running"
Joe: "I tried my best it just didn't become a reality for a host of reasons"
Entire Fan base: Furious leading to Depression
only time will tell...

The boosters know what's happening. If you write a million dollar check to the athletic department you would know too

Exactly, but if don't get Jimbo, how do you go back to them?

What do you mean by, "go back to them"?
Who the Hell do you think reached out to Jimbo to begin with?
The AD at LSU, and the other big schools, is responsible for running all sports OTHER than football.
Football, is run by the big-money boosters, and the AD ids just the face of the collective.
Alleva is not going back to them...

Let me get this straight... You think the powers that be just blindly cut Alleva a $15 million check and are sitting around waiting for some good news?

At best case we get Jimbo, Kelly, or Herman
2nd best case we get Fedora or some other coach we hadn't heard of that is good at recruiting but hadn't done too much where he's at ( Like Miles at OSU)
Worst case- Miles.

No that's not it at all what I believe...but Alleva is the one fielding Sexton's communications and is representing LSU correct?
The money was raised so Alleva had options to get another coach
If you don't have 15 million, you have to live with Miles, right?
So by going silent for 3 weeks, it's clear Alleva is going to fire Miles...that's been the plan right? Everyone is on to it
It's been a Jimbo deal all along...
But as time has passed, I don't think Alleva can give Miles another year and save face with Miles, Boosters or the fan base if Jimbo doesn't come.
The 15 Million was raised to get Jimbo, not another coach.
So it's a political mess for Alleva if Jimbo doesn't come at this point
