That's what happens with a pocket passer and one running back. The defensive end can be more aggressive.

Tennessee is going to win this game.

Another turnover. Oh well. Turnovers will kill you.

Losing 17-0 in the first quarter to a poor Georgia team doesn't tell you how bad Tennessee is ? Are you serious?

didn't this poor UGA team take arkansas to the wire?

No shame in winning a close one to Tenn. They are very good.

Tennessee is a bad team. People just need to realize that. LSU played down to its competition, plain and simple, and this is a major trend for Miles' LSU teams even in our glory years 2005-2007.

We have a game now and then that we blow out a team (Va Tech 2007, Auburn 2009, etc.), but Miles' coached teams aren't disciplined and play down to their competition.

That's pretty much it. Please stop trying to say UT is worth a shite.

Okay, here's my attempt at a positiger spin for our performance vs UT as opposed to UGA's performance today:

Richt is really on the hot seat here in Georgia. In a couple of interviews that were played on some of the sport stations on the radio he essentially said that he had been trying to keep the team healthy so they could make game days with fewer injuries. This was being done by changing his approach to weekly practice sessions being spent rehearsing plays but no real hits or serious contact going on during practices. After last week's loss he decided, "screw it!" and had the Dawgs practice in pads all week long in preparation for Tennessee.

Considering how poorly UGA has performed thus far, and then seeing them suddenly spring to life makes me think that Les could take a lesson from this UGA team and make something really start to happen with our Tiger team. I hate winning by accident.

Looks like UGA may get their first SEC win of the year today, and only their 2nd win overall for the season.

re: If LSU beats Florida... (Posted on 10/3/10 at 1:37 p.m. to RedElephants)

"Yup and Tennessee scored 17 on , they also put up 288 yards on Florida and only 217 yards against LSU.
Florida only managed 317 yards against Tennessee and LSU managed 424 yards....

LSU wins by 4 over Florida"

Tdeucen:

Does the 2nd quote above look familiar? It should, it's YOURS from SIX days ago, commenting on basing your prediction for tonight based upon how each team did against Tennessee. You used two different and unrelated games to make a point and a prediction.

In other words, you're busted for doing exactly what you are accusing others (including me) of doing all the time.

Kinda makes YOU look the fool, doesn't it!
