Do we realistically think the crowd will be 50/50? Ik everybody is looking at the UGA game but Athens is a good bit closer plus it was Labor Day weekend

I'd say yes.
I took them in the ATS picks. Usually every year I refrain from picking LSU. This is the first year I feel like we've been drinking the kool-aid and it's not poison. Vegas is tuned in, no doubt, but I think our optimism (naive or not) puts us on the winning end of wagers this year.

It all depends on WHICH PLAYERS MAY PLAY and WHEN the SUBSTITUTIONS start.

Vandy has 2 real weakness: Pass defense and OL play.
They are the 126th ranked pass defense and we are the 2nd ranked passing offense. We are going to score at will.
Aranda and Orgeron have said we're going to use new blitz packages and use a lot more of them to get pressure on the QB and abuse their poor OL.
I could see Vandy playing tough in the 1st half, the week after a bye, at home, at 11 AM. But this game should eventually break wide open.

LSU defense will be looking to make a statement, and some young guys will be looking to earn a spot. Divinity shows out and makes the coaches question why they ever moved him to the middle. Vandy gets a TD in garbage time.
LSU offense continues to roll, and we see our first game with 200+ yards rushing including Emery's homerun potential. Brennan has another phenomenal second half, and tRant begins yammering about going back to back.
LSU: 51
Vandy: 10
The beer will flow like the Father of Waters the remainder of the day as we sit back and watch Auburn-A&M and Georgia-ND.

We had some Texas hangover during the NSU game. Considering we have a bye week coming up after Vandy, it shouldn't be a problem. UGA beat them 30-6 in Nashville, I'm hoping we outdo that.
