Does anyone else think Slaughter may be experiencing vision problems? He seemed to be seeing the ball well at the beginning of the year, but I notice he squints all the time now.

I know it's not uncommon for athletes to realize vision may be an issue. Same sorta thing happened with Dwayne Bowe before he broke out here at LSU

Are you suggesting he found a way to cheat the physical?

They may have checked them our freshman year( our freshman year we did bloodwork, ekg, etc etc) They certainly didnt after that. It was a quick blood pressure, height, weight, cancer screen in mouth if you were a baseball player or anyone who opted for it, quick visit with the ortho, and on your merry way.

I didnt play baseball But they asked me if I wanted to do the cancer screen. They made the baseball players do it(I guess they assumed they all dipped)

I played tennis at lsu. The sport where you have to have hand eye coordination and not be an unathletic fat arse.

So I can comment on baseball

I don't think he is squinting. It always looked to me like a grimace - a "here come the curveballs away again" look.
