Skip was one of a kind. Skip was a coach during a time where one coach could and did dominate.

Nick Saban is the best coach in college football. He's not coming back to LSU and every year we'll have to beat his team. His teams should continue to be dominant.

Les Miles was not Nick Saban. PM is not Skip. The constant coach trashing is tiresome. We're not going to be in the final four in NCAA football ever year - but we should always be in the running. Our baseball team is going to have a down year from time to time (I hope this isn't the case this year).

It is not schtick. It is a response to the numerous threads last night that were coach bashing.

Some fans do support the coaches. And, when they get terminated, we move on and support the new coaches.

Are the coaches above criticism? Of course not. Do we need numerous "fire the coach" threads following every loss? Of course not.

Once he's gone, it was time to move on. I hope Coach Wade's team kicks some butt next year.

He's got a tough job and I hope the fans understand that any success next year will be great, given the circumstances Coach Wade is in.

I have a feeling next year will be a good one for basketball.

When will the rant not have numerous "fire the coach" threads following each loss?

We understand that Skip and Nick aren't coming back, but what is wrong with wanting that level of success from our current coaches? Maybe we should just strive for mediocrity? You sound like a loser.

When there are few (or no) people who believe the coach should be fired.

Obviously you haven't been paying attention to baseball. We have not won a game against an in-state school this year.

If you don't like them, don't read them.

Problem solved. I'll send you my bill.
