Yeah, that's unlikely unless they switch to a higher COR used in Pro baseball. And the only knock on that is cost. They claim 'cause it's expensive would be cost prohibitive for some college programs.
Which is not necessarily true because if all Collegiate Div's were to use the .578 flat seam pro ball, the cost would not necessarily stay as high as they are now. The higher the demand...

I would like to find an impact study, one that tests these flat seams as they are to be used.
The only test I have found so far was a drag study done with a ball machine.

Yea it really sucks that all of my student section days are at these games where only 1 homer is hit every 3 games and an infield single is some of the biggest excitement sometimes.
