Will Skenes ever get an opportunity to get any at bats this year? What's the story?

No dude it’s not worth risking injury! Maybe in the CWS but if he’s not taking BP that may be risky

Fix your half arse thread title… and if he’s gonna get no run support damn right I’d want him to bat

Not to mention dozens of first round pitchers have done so in college

If he is a top 5 hitter on the team, he absolutely should be hitting. No doubt

I don’t see any pics. Which scenes are you referring to?

It’s too early to risk with the team doing so well overall. If we start slumping and risk the chance of not winning conference or worse then CJJ should consider but as far as right now today No he’s the potential #1 pick in the draft all he does is pitch

I’m just gonna assume if Jay intended to use Skenes at all this year, then he would have hit at least a few times by now. You’re not going to just throw him into facing SEC pitching.

All the more reason to get rid of the designated hitter.

I don’t think he cares about hitting. If he did he would have gone somewhere that would have put him in the line up. Hitting won’t increase his draft stock.
