how much does this take away the fun from you? say you have kids, don't want to be bothered or enjoy sitting in hostile territory. Are we expecting FL to travel much on 11/19? section 403 is one i'm looking at but i think that's usually heavy visitor area in Sez corner

There is a huge difference between sitting in a "student/younger" visiting section and a season ticket holder section. A young crowd can be brutal, but a normal season ticket crowd can be fun.
I have done plenty, was in Wisconsin section at Lambeau Field and it was a blast. Was in a younger section at Auburn and MS State and it was a little dicey.
Luck of the draw in terms of who is actually sitting next to you.. Good luck

I'm doing it for TAM, but my wife and son-in-law are Aggies, so it should be fun. Plus I'm not a jerk.

Sat in the wisky student section and everything was happy go lucky until the Harris game ending pick...... beers began raining down and the wonderful Wisconsin people began showing they're gracious side.... someone in our group even punched a dad on the way up, but I got spat on and pushed and beers dumped on me, nothing out of the ordinary.
This however was in an away stadium I'd imagine away fans at DV would refrain from those actions considering they are not in their own stadium. So I'd guess you'll be fine just hope the game doesn't get real close/emotional then the drunks probs won't hold back lol.

I sat in 403 row 3 for the Ole Miss game. They were making noise when they were up 10-0, after that, not so much.

Aggies bend over backwards to be nice to guests. I have been to Kyle field a couple of times wearing P&G. They literally walk up to you and thank you for being there.
They will bitch incessantly about the refs though. Annoying at first but then I just laughed.

I've been in Tiger Stadium a lot. This won't bother me.
