I know this won't happen but it should. Poche is the lefty we need out of the pen. Poche is an amazing kid and ambassador to LSU but his play in conference has been extremely painful.

Hess right now could be our only reliable (knocked on wood fingers crossed) set up man/closer if needed. I dont think Poche has ever come out of the pen and he is more of a pitch to contact guy.

Not gonna happen. Poche is battle tested and will bounce back.

Short sighted and reactionary post. Poche is nails in the postseason and having Hess out of the pen or as a 4th starter in the post season will be big

We'd be better to use him like we did tonight. Give Poche a short leash.

Hess is entirely too valuable out of the pen right now. He just save every pen arm for Sunday.

I know he is battle tested but he has clearly regressed

I actually think Poche could do well with a week off. He's been bad lately

I am curious to see if Hess gets a start in the SEC tournament but with a bullpen so thin I don't see how they can take him out of it.

Just put Pocheese on Sunday, that's his best chance for a win.

K thanks.

But would you not agree the past is often a good indicator of the future?

Not yet, would rather move him to Sunday and Walker to Saturday.

I'd say the way he is pitching this year is a much greater indicator than what happened last year

He's definitely had a rough few weeks. But It's not like that's the first time he's hit a couple speed bumps in his career. That's really the only point i'm trying to make. Too early to throw in the towel on him.

The way he's pitching this year? He almost broke the LSU record for most consecutive scoreless innings just a month ago.

Hess started to get dicey the second time through the order. He'd be a good 7th, 8th guy

Dumb and reactionary, poche usually hits a wall during the season and usually is the backbone of the pitching staff in june
