Chick-fil-A Bowl Georgia Tech (9-3) vs LSU (7-5) The two teams went in opposite directions this season, with Tech rising to national prominence and LSU plummeting. But something tells me Les Miles will get the Tigers back on track, starting here. LSU 31, Georgia Tech 27

I agree. Jordan Jefferson is going to look good with the prep time he's having.

Understatement of the year, however I think LSU could not have asked for a better matchup in the bowl game. Big corners that tackle well and big safeties that are much better this year in run support as opposed to coverage coupled with a one dimensional offense that LSU can play aggressive against make me feel good. Every team this year including State dinked and dunked all over the feild. GT will likely stick to what got them there and I think we will fare well against that.

Our big safeties didn't do jack all year in run support except whiff on tailbacks as they went running by.

Maybe you're talking about the Giant's defense or something. But you aren't talking about about the LSU safeties.

I don't care how long we've had to prepare for GT, I still think they roll us running the football for 500 yards based on the facts of watching LSU all season long.

I hope you're not sitting next to me in Atlanta.

Don't worry, I won't be. No way I'd drive 9 hours to watch an inferior GT team run through our D.

I didn't think I'd have to worry about your bandwagon self being there.

Dude, you don't know me. I've been all over this country for the last 30 years to watch LSU play ball. But personally I don't like torture. I'm glad you are going to cheer them on for me and the rest of the Tiger fans who don't like to watch our team get drummed.

You were on the bandwagon for 30 years. Why get off now?

One 7-5 season is torture? Welcome back, Rip Van Winkle - you missed being an LSU fan in the 90s.

Watch the Chicken Bowl and find out.

But personally, I was at a couple LSU/Miss.State and LSU/Bama games in the late 70s and 80s where State and Bama ran the option for nearly 400. Seemed like 1000. It's not fun to watch.

But at least running the ball eats the clock. Makes the torture 45 minutes or so shorter.

Miami gave up nearly that much to Tech this year.

You will eat your words! What if this game turns into one of the, if not the best bowl game of the post-season?

Don't worry, our passing defense will probably make people wonder why GT's quarterback wasn't invited to the Heisman ceremony.
