Sirius College Sports channel has gotten pretty bad

It was way better when they had Bill King on in the mornings now all they seem to do are 20 - 30 minute interviews with ADs, coaches and players which is fine every now and then but if it's not your team I really don't care to listen to a 40 minute interview with FSU's AD or a 20 minute interview with David Cutcliffe.
I really haven't heard much on LSU at all except when they did their SEC picks and then it was just some tired lazy analysis.

Yes, the "Camp Tour" segments get pretty old. There are only so many times you can hear about how amazing everybody's facilities are and how every program in the country is "on the way up." Each one of the stops is basically an extended infomercial for the program in question. The interviews aren't exactly full of hard-hitting questions...

Personalities like King made it entertaining and interesting. I feel there is a real drop off.

I agree. They did a 30 min interview with Idaho's HC a few weeks ago. I almost fell asleep at the wheel

I think it's really just the preseason camp tour that is painful to listen to. Nobody wants to hear a 12 minute interview of the starting junior left guard on a random team 3 conferences away. It's much better during season. But yeah I miss Bill talking about God's Sport.

Taylor ZarZour is also a smug....he talks down to callers and isn't a people person.......Side kick is Greg McElroy.......like do we really as college football fans need more McElroy in our lives? We have to watch him on ESPN all the time......now the radio too

Bill was a man's man.......you could tell he drank a shite ton of coffee and smoked between breaks........he wanted to talk to people about football and bbq.

Chris Childers is my absolute favorite. As long as they keep him around, I'll still listen.
I used to not care for the first team with Greg McElroy, but it's definitely grown on me. I enjoy it now.
I agree with the OP, but this is just the camp tour. It gets real old, but we'll get back to the real stuff soon.

Classic case of way overdoing it. I used to really enjoy the King show, but it got to where half the show was hawking the multi-level marketing shite he was pushing. The old Jack Arute / Mike Leach show was great as well.

I could not take bill kings snake oil commercials anymore. I like Greg he knows FB, Taylor Zz sucks, typical talking head. I really can't stand Jack Arute, he comes across as an arrogant self obsessed prick. The one in the pm is good , I'm drawing a blank on his name ?
