Would be a waste...
Dupre, LF, Quinn, and Harris all getting 3 years (2 and some games really) together starting is exciting

Remember when every Harris lead drive resulted in LSU TDs outside of the Au game.. And Jennings still struggled against inferior competition and continues to play below mediocrity

You better hope he starts next year. I can't for the life of me figure out what Jennings was thinking when he decided to throw the ball up for grabs in the end zone. All I can think is that somhow he couldnt think fast enough to realize a fisrt down is all we needed. Seriuosly, I think he had a brain cramp and thought it was TD or nothing.

Harris has far greater upside is why. You are holding one game against him as a true fresh on the road when he's still outperformed Jennings this season.

And it ain't even close

Agreed. But you know how Miles likes to stick with his guy.

Harris probably wont get a shot till the bowl game if Jennings continues to stink it up the next two games.

I frankly think it would show where our coach's mindset is.

If Les is more caught up in getting a 9-3, 10-3 record than he is about the FUTURE of the program, he will start Jennings.

I could absolutely care less if we win another game this year. The wins would be hollow and meaningless. We should start Harris and take our lumps. He has the much greater upside. We must invest in him now.

Why not develop Jennings? What have you seen that makes you believe Harris is better?

*Arm Strength to start with.
*Harris is faster and runs the Zone Read better
*Not scared to throw the ball.

And please don't reply with the Peyton Manning doesn't have great arm strength argument.

Disagree he let Mett air it out, he just knows Jennings is limited

Probably AJ's job until he gets injured.

People want to point to the Auburn game yet we're still staring most of the same Defense that surrendered 41 to Auburn. Vastly improved I might add.

Have an upvote, sir.

They should start Harris and live with the result. It is without question that Jennings cannot and will not be an SEC caliber or championship caliber QB. He's had two years and a full season, and is no better. Time to move on now.

I guess you forgot he never developed mett in 2011. Only when mett had to start did they put any emphasis on developing him. So 2012 was a waste with a hell of a lot of talent on defense.

And "airing it out" is funny. With mett we still were rated in the 100's in passes attempted

Teams all over the country develop respectable passing games with far less talent and far less money spent on coaches. The head coach doesn't give a shite about passing. If he did somebody needs to explain how it sucks so bad year I'm year out.

12 games 3k yards that is airing it out at LSU, I doubt you ever have a QB average 300 yards a game with Les as coach and Mett averaged 256.
