1/3 into our season and he just hasn't done anything. Doesn't "command double teams" and is usually taken out of the play by a guard or center. Puts no pressure ever on the QB and seeing his play, it really wouldn't hurt to get out backups some time, seeing as he is just a big body on the DL, not much more.

Don't care for the rant, this needs to be said, our DL needs new faces and fast because our current starters aren't doing anything for our LB "who get all the blame for 550 yards"

I don't think people are saying it because it's so obvious.

What many will not recognize is, this type of thing forces a guy to start that may not have ever played in the system other than as a backup.

I have heard "experts" say otherwise....they just think he is not ready. If he isn't the younger guys behind him probably aren't.

I disagree, he's the only defensive tackle I've seen make positive plays.

which is why i don't get the DL rotation.

if you have a starter that's been pretty much ineffective, then why not rotate fresh bodies in there.

maybe it's bc Lacouture has a stranglehold on the PT at the position.

I'm not sure, but the rotation sure is mind boggling.

Other teams in the sec have freshmen and sophmore dlinemen playing great ball. Look at auburns rotation, they play yevery dlinemen they have. Experienced or not
