Les wins championships

Just to put things into perspective

#1 It took Les 3 years to win an SEC championship and he took over a great program.

#2 Les has won the same number of SEC championships that LSU basketball has won since he arrived.

Quote: He did against Kentucky with the 2-3 Zone.

But it won't work at Kentucky this time. And who has it been really effective against since then? It was a good surprise move against Kentucky since they don't have great outside shooting.

Our bench is the issue, especially since Morgan is out. JJ seems to go to zone to rest players. But Hickey and Stringer lack the height and length to be effective in a 2-3 zone. I would rather experiment with a 1-3-1 when he wants to rest players. Quarterman-(Mickey-Martin-JOB)-Odo (to take fouls). The rest of the time when Hickey and Stringer are in we should play man to man and press on occasion.

JJ is NOT Dale 2.0 and anyone who knows the game knows this, for better or worse they coach differently to a massive degree...and again, while I am far from happy about where we are 1)The season is far from over, 2)It is only his 3rd year....

Tell me again, how did CJJ's first two seasons prior to this one turn out?
