Since Bama and LSU Seem to be the SEC Teams Expected to have the Best D in 2011

I was just wondering how many were coming back for LSU? Who all did y'all lose? Who's most likely to replace them? Who's coming back that is awesome, etc? I know PP7 is gone, seems like I heard Sheppard as well. What about Nevis?

All three of those guys are gone, We do have some quality depth at the D-line position and the DB position. LB is a bit of a question mark though.

we have our insanely talented young secondary back, minus PP7, but they got a lot of PT last year and will only be better. LB is an issue according to all the experts here, but they forget our DC is a LB guru, Nevis is gone but we have some guys coming back healthy along with "Freak" who will probably see significant time on the Dline

Nevis, K. Sheppard, PP7 are 3 huge losses, but our recruiting will pay off. Big losses on all 3 levels

We lose our 3 best players at each level of the defense.
Losing Nevis at DT
Levingston at DT
Shep at LB
Peterson at CB
We return A LOT of depth though. Some think our defense will be better, I'm not sure. It doesn't have to be though, it just needs to be as good as last years and we'll be fine

Ryan Baker broke his jaw and was still able to come back and play in games last season. I'm thinking he'll answer the call.

We lose our big 3 which will be huge anyway you cut it. However that core of it, meaning practically everyone else around them is back. I think we should have a very very rock solid defense with play makers all over the field.
