Always love a big tiger win, but so so disappointed in attendance this year at tiger stadium. Something has to change because it’s embarrassing

The game day experience has been gutted, the parking is awful, traffic is insane, gotta pay for all tailgating spots, concessions are a joke, piped in music is unbearable. You can’t keep fuching over the fans and expect them to keep showing up, especially if you lose to Troy at home.

The couch gets a better view than the nosebleeds and the Bluebloods in the chairbacks hold their tickets as a status symbol while spending the game in an RV.

Teams like Chattanooga and Troy should never appear on LSU's schedule. This is the sort of scheduling which makes us old-timers pine for Tulane, and a loss to one of these leaves a stain which is hard to remove.

2017 LSU will be remembered for one thing, and unfortunately one thing only: "they were the team that lost to Troy". Nevermind the 9 victories. It's like 2007 Michigan. Everyone knows they had an infamous loss to App State, but what else did Michigan do that year? I think they were a pretty good team.

Piped in music isn’t horrible. If that’s a reason fans don’t cone to games, then they can sit their sorry asses at home. I agree with you in the concessions, they’re a joke. But, eat before you come to the game therefore you don’t need to worry about the concessions. And you penny pinchers won’t have to spend money. All these excuses about game day experience are bullshite. Come out and support your damn Tigers and quit bitching.

Get used to it. It's simple supply and demand. As long as every game is televised, it's so expensive, and people continue to have more choices of how to spend their entertainment dollar, this is the reality. Millennials don't consume sports like previous generations. It just doesn't mean as much to them and as the demographic gets older the stadium will get emptier and less passionate. Just the way it is.

Around me... At least 50% of the crowd is dicking around on their phone, utterly oblivious to the game. Sad.

And the fans that do go care more about the freaking car race and lighting up their phones than the actual game. It used to be so special in TS

So you mean I can save 5-7 hours of time on a Saturday and save at least $500 between tickets, parking, and other BS by watching it on TV, getting a better view, drink and eat more, don't have to wear shoes or pants? Tough choice. I love being at games, but there is a huge minimum effort and cost level. Maybe when my kids are older and not such work to lug around. Also I live 10 hours away.
