Simmons isn't close

He's a great physical specimen, but he sure needs more time in college, but not under this coach. That would be a waste.
But if an NBA team picks him #1, he won't improve the worst team in the league, he's just not that kind of take charge and lead guy.

I think LSU will be better next year without Simmons. They rely on him far too much

Its time to part ways w Jones. The sooner the better. Be the first team in the market and try to pull a big time guy in. Maybe he could convince Simmons. Either way, we would be better off.
