Yes way. One of the many reasons he'll be the #1 pick

I never said he shouldn't or wont be the number one pick...I said I don't think he is a starter for MOST nba teams in his first year.

You just said he better learn to post up in response to me saying that he'd be the #1 pick

He's 6'10 with a 7 foot wing span that has the versatility to play the 3 or 4 or even a small 5 for some run and gun teams. An article came out this week stating, based on interviews with NBA scouts, that he'd be an instant upgrade to most teams starting lineups and a cornerstone.

I don't think people understand how rare his skillset is for his size and length. You can count on your hands the number of players who have ever possessed it, and most are in the NBA hall of fame or will be

no that was in response to him starting...I have never thought he shouldn't/won't/ doesn't deserve to be #1 pick

of course he will

I do I just expected him to have more of a perimeter game. He is Durant without a jumpshot

It was literally in response to him being the #1 pick, which is what you quoted

of course he will

Seems awfully similar to:

quote:

no way

If he was allowed to come out of high school, he'd be starting on most teams at 19 years old. Especially teams with good shooters

all he had was a jumpshot

I mean they are both tall and can handle the ball

Simmons is bigger, stronger, and way more explosive than KD coming out.

KD has an amazing shot. They won't be similar in that regard, but I think Simmons will develop some mid range and a corner 3
