I think some of us thought we may lose Arranda or Canada to a head coaching job or a different program in the offseason, but can't see that happening anymore. Then again in the case of Canada, I guess it's worse if he stays.

I disagree. I think Aranda will want out from this mess.

Aranda is one of the most highly respected DC’s. That hasn’t changed.

You might be right. I don't dislike Arranda, but I thought he was a smart guy and could scheme away and cover up some deficiencies. Haven't seen much of that.

Even Aranda can't meet the God like figure he was painted to be. He's an elite D.C who will coach in the NFL soon enough. I think that's what he wants too.

Real silver linings:

Fans who go to games will no longer have to fight traffic.

No more daytime games in Death Valley.

Good seats are available without spending a fortune.

We won't be taunted with false hope against the gumps only to have the REC zebras step in.

Agreed. I have missed out on weekend fall catfishing for several years because I devoted my Saturday nights to LSU football. At this point in time, if the only way I can express my displeasure with the administration is to go back to watching tight lines by lantern light instead of watching us get beat by lesser teams? I guess that's a sacrifice I'm willing to make. Sad, because I'd rather be watching a competitive LSU team.
