Orange bowl announcers know that and aren't saying it. Ridiculous. Amazing how the public respect for #7 has diminished b/c of his decision not to play.

Makes me wonder if some inside football ops aren't happy with his decision and aren't doing anything proactive to put out information that he isn't healthy.

This will be one of the biggest impacts to big prospects.

These decisions will soon be the norm

Yea I bet that's exactly what happened. Derek probably called Steve Levy personally and told him to talk poorly about Leonard. It was on page 15 of the binder.

He said he was about 90 percent a few weeks ago...so yeah, I think he's healthy right now

Did Fournette even make the trip to Orlando with the team?

Nope. That's why he's getting all the shots from the media

They know that this hurts ratings. They are trying to intimidate other high profile players to play.

FYI: Butt got hurt tonight. He is a projected first round pick. Peppers also out from yesterdays practice.

No. He signed with an agent. He is no longer part of the team.

It's Fournette's decision. Some will say you don't leave your team, some will say he owes nothing to them.

However, I find it interesting he was NOT going to play against Florida until he felt disrespected and asked to go. If he were good enough to go after getting fired up with the pregame crap, he should have been a go to begin with.

I understand what he is doing, but I think this is more avoiding injury than it is him actually being hurt. He is putting his draft status ahead of his teammates and I don't know how I feel about that. The chances of a Jaylon Smith blowout are extremely slim. I want a ride or die player on my team like Myles Garrett- who has been hurt all year and played through it, even the meaningless bowl game.

He did it to himself, but it probably won't change his draft stock one bit.

They don't give a shite about the truth. They just need talking points. It's nothing new. Happens in all lines of journalism.

All things being equal, not sure how anyone saying Fournette not playing is going to be a wise decision versus Cook playing.

If I'm a GM, I'm chuckling at the guy going early for Fournette when Cook is on the board later. Definitely not saying Cook and Fournette are equal in a vacuum, but little things like actually playing football at a high level in a big game when your team is playing says something to me.

The. Guy. Is. fricking. Hurt.

Has been all year. What the hell is so hard to comprehend? Cook is 100% healthy.

LSU and Fournette played this wrong from the start from a PR standpoint.

Orgeron should have just said he's not healthy enough to play and the coaching staff was not going to let him play. Now, him signing with an agent is what really is causing the 'he's skipping the game' talk.

He was OUT for FL game, but played anyway.

We wouldn't be having this conversation if doubts about his health were not present from all.
