SI - LSU brought its stud tailback and his mega-watt personality.

SI - 11 Takeaways From a Cross-Country Tour of College Football's Media Days.
1. David Blough’s speech: I’ve known Blough since he was a high school quarterback in Texas. I interviewed probably nine or ten dozen quarterbacks—in various stages of their careers—for my book The QB. None were more impressive than Blough was: He’s far from the biggest quarterback, but his character and his maturity—especially for a high schooler at the time—stood out.
2. Derrius Guice’s energy: This year’s media days often felt like they were almost about who wasn’t there as much as who was. There was no Saquon Barkley or Luke Falk or Josh Rosen or Jalen Hurts, but LSU brought its stud tailback and his mega-watt personality. SEC Media Days is the biggest whirlwind setup of any of these gatherings, with players and coaches being shuttled from room to room, often with a backpedaling cadre of cameramen in tow. Guice was amped for all of it.

SI - "LSU’S LIFE AFTER LES
As always, the Tigers will be ranked entering Week 1, but this year there’s an added measure of uncertainty at the first fall camp without Les Miles since 2004. The presence of beloved new head coach Ed Orgeron won’t be enough to separate the Tigers from the pack, but this roster certainly has the talent to be a top-10 team. Standout defensive end Arden Key won’t be ready for the start of camp as he recovers from shoulder surgery, but the offense’s engine will be: Running back Derrius Guice, who got plenty of work a year ago as Leonard Fournette dealt with injuries."
SI - "If Orgeron and new offensive coordinator Matt Canada can straighten out LSU’s erratic offensive production, the Tigers may well be in the playoff conversation."

SI isn't known to be LSU friendly, when they give LSU respect, it's most likely earned.

Better hope this bullshite isn't a reflection of leadership or lack thereof of discipline with all these players leaving or we are post Mack Browned for sure. At least inStrong's case, he ran them off because of a lack of discipline. Discipline doesn't equal going to Okie State, OU, SC or where the hell else. There's so much more to this story than what any dombfrivk insider on here will ever know AND I don't trust a cheap hire to be dig us out of it.
If Orgeron

If Miles had nuts, he would still be coaching, he was too chicken shite to dump his buddy Cam. If your aunt had nuts, she could join the military and get that rearranged for free.

IIRC, it was SI that predicting LSU would be a monster in 2011. I feel like other outlets weren't quite so high on us due to the QB situation.

LSU's season in 2017 ins't as ho-hum, boring, or however certain media or fans want to characterize or downplay it, just get it over with.
LSU will be an exciting team, very capable in 2017, very capable of winning the SEC and more.

You're an idiot. Players leaving is a lack of discipline? Or is it the other way around? If they hadn't left what would you bash the new coach about?

Honestly, I feel like there is much less "chatter" coming out of the program this offseason. I like it.

I have no idea what to expect out of this team this year

Yeah the last few years we'd just hear the same things about offensive/QB improvement so much from the staff that I would buy in against my better judgement.
This year the only thing I've heard about Etling is he's healthy and it's helped with his velocity. The only thing I've heard about the new offense is from reporters at the practices and interviews from coaches who've faced Canada. The LSU coaches and players aren't doing much talking.
I've been vocal about my disappointment in the Orgeron hire, but I do like what he seems to be doing here.

So your solution to anything is to just throw money at a problem? You must run a really successful business...
