Shriners do good things for kids. Glad LSU is a part of this.

Every dime Shriners raise to go fund hospitals.

No child or parent ever pays a dime for services.

Can't say enough good about the Shriners or Masons in general.

For whomever down voted, I'd love to know your reason.

Me, too. I can see a downvote on most of what I post but how can anyone downvote affirmative comments about Shriners? I can't tell how many instances I know of that they 'cured' some kid or made their life much more bearable.

Probably because a pic of the funny hats wasn't included in the OP.

Instead of hiding behind a down vote, post your reason. We may agree, I'm just curious.

Shriners is something I actually might donate to. It's doesn't sound like some sneezeball operation like some are

First off- Masons are in no way anti-catholic; if anything, it's the other way around, we are very accepting of any religion, the Catholic Church is the one with the issues, not us. (There are historic reasons for this; most stemming back to the church, France monarch debt, and the Templars. But that's a long history lesson and you likely aren't very receptive to hearing that at the moment.)

But I sure would like to hear what makes us a horrible organization in your mind???

Then why is so many people in such a bad state, even going bankrupt trying to pay medical bills? There should be no need for organizations like this. We pay taxes, and that's where payment for our healthcare should come from. At least that's the way it's done in civilized countries.

The fact that organizations like this exist, tells you that our healthcare system is a joke. Let's just keep praising People and organization for attempting to put a band aid on a serious problem that our tax dollars should and could be rectifying.

Masonry is NOT anti-Catholic. I know many Catholic Masons. I know many Jewish Masons. I know Morman Masons.

Hitler was anti-Mason as are all dictators.

Masonry is not a religion though the centerpiece of Masonry is the Holy Bible. No meeting can begin or end without reference to God.

Without the Shriners Hospital, or St. Jude's (Danny Thomas I think was a Mason as well), how many kids, rich, poor, or in between, have they saved the lives of or put in a position to walk?

The history of Scotland, Ireland, Mexico, and Ecuador, as well as the United States, say otherwise.

You're aware that most dictators in Central America were Masons, right?

Masonry is not a religion

Did I say you were?
