yes...CLM has proven the last 5 times we played them that 2 weeks or 5 weeks make no difference...so play them with one week then use a bye week to lick our wounds

Actually makes sense since the SEC decided to put our two most physical games back to back. Going from the war that is Bama right back to our yearly battle with the swine does not set us up well for success. Go with OOC game, Gumps, Bye and then Swine. This would work but getting it that way is unlikely.

I agree. It only builds up the game which we then proceed to lose and boom there goes the season.

something needs to happen because something happened during our bye week that caused the team to lose all confidence
either they built up the Bama game so much then came out tight and played awful and now they have lost all confidence
the bye week gave them too much time to think about Bama and put too much pressure on themselves

Considering we don't use it for preparation I think we should. We need the healing aspect of it.
