1) Kind of hard to complain about 5 and 1, but after watching Georgia, apparently we have not beaten anybody good.
2) If not for some silly mistakes (and a blown call) could have been an entirely different game, and we all could be singing a different tune.
3)If what you have on offense is not working, why not try something else. Especially in the 4th quarter. You're playing the #1 tean in the country; you have nothing to loose. Start throwing the long ball to the tall receivers on first down every time, and see if it sticks, or leave Shepard and Holliday in the game for a complete series and leave them in until 4th down or we score, or something of the like.
4) Frustrated like everyone else.

Its Jefferson... always has been... there is no leadership...Jefferson had open receievers all night but it was his primary receiver so he would just take a sack. I think it's time to give Lee a shot.

LSU may very well have a new starter at QB next year (and it could very well be that kid from Mississippi - heard he was a real stud), but I feel fairly confident that we will not see an QB change this year.

I would love to see a change to Jerrett Lee with Russell Shepard set up as tailback, Scott as Fullback. Defenses would have a very difficult time deciding to stack the box or set up for a deep ball. Then just read and pick the opposite play from what they have set for. This is not rocket science.

Granted, Miles and Crowton won't ever consider something that makes this much sense.

Partially wrong. Success in the passing game requires 3 components...
The offensive line providing protection.
The receivers getting open and catching the ball.
The QB making the right decisions.
We only have 1 of the 3 working in the passing game...the WR's. But it's not all Jefferson. The O Line has not done a good job of pass blocking thus far. That's why we're near the bottom in national stats re: passing.

I am proud we stuck with them, but we did not look good doing it. The O-line and the D-line struggled all night. We will have major problems with Bammer's D, they are solid form the line to safety.
Jefferson's internal play clock runs way to slow and he does not seem to "feel" the pressure. He needs more 3step drop, quick slants...
LOVE my TIGERS!! BEAT Auburn!!
