Thanks for putting up that link, I had missed the replay and had forgotten to look it up.
Damn, Russell Shepard has good eyes. He could have just as simply run right into the defenders but he steered right and ran through a minimal hole at optimal speed. Bad arse!

Thank you. I said a couple of times I didn't care and was just curious. The people who respond with that type of attitude are just mad because they haven't been laid in a while. The insecurity is obvious.

Well, if you count how far back he was behind the line of scrimmage and the angle he took after he hit the hole, I calculated his run to actually be 87.5638 yards.
For the sake of stats we can round it to 88 since it was 87.5...at least that is what I did with all my grades in school even if the professor was a douchebag.
In case you were wondering my formula, here it is:

There was good blocking by the O-Line on that play. Shephard did a good job of hitting the seem, but I'm pretty sure that play was designed for him to run to the middle. Hitt jumps out and is clearly blocking the linebacker towards the sideline. It's refreshing to see those kinds of holes.
