Shavon Coleman was the glue of the team this year.

One of my favorite players to watch, yes we wish we could have seen him for four years, but we are fortunate enough to have had him for two.

This man was a team player. Played the 4 when we needed him to last year, tough role. This year was at his more natural 3 position. Then after Malik went down, Shavon stepped up at the 2. Always contributing where the team needed him.

Thanks for all you've done Shavon, I'm proud to call you a team player, classmate, and TIGER.

Posted this in the game thread but ill put it here for one of my all time favorite Tigers

Just finished the game on DVR. Frustrating second half. Very sad to see Coleman's career end. Ive watched this kid play since Jr High and it has been awesome to see his game develop.

He was a bit immature coming out of high school and didn't have the grades but went to JUCO, got on his books and busted his butt.

Ended up having a solid two year career at LSU and was a a very valuable part of this team. I know he likely won't play NBA ball, but maybe he can play overseas or something.

All in all, i guess this season was an improvement in that this team made the postseason and got some more experience for the Seniors and younger guys. Frustrating at times yes, but I'm proud of the Tigers and can't wait to watch them lace up next season. Tl:dr. Don't care. Geaux Tigers.

One of the most improved players I've ever seen over the course of a couple years here.

I've never seen such a dynamic player. He could do it all. I'd have never guessed he would play the 2 at LSU. He played all last year in the post and moved all the way to off guard. Really impressive young man.

It was a great day when this young man decided to be a Tiger. It was a sad moment for me watching his head in his jersey in the final minutes of last nights game. He was by far the hardest worker I have ever had the oppurtunity to coach. As someone stated earlier as good as a ball player as he is, he is an even better person. Hopefully he gets a shot somewhere on the next level. #Suga
