The difference in us making into the 2nd weekend of the tournament. I was pleasantly surprised in his athleticism, hustle, post moves, SHOT BLOCKING everything. I had never seen him so was expecting some big fat version of SHAQ but he is tall and long. He can really help us inside since Reid struggles with fouls.

Much more physical and aggressive than Reid.

He played last season (though limited). He is nowhere close to the dominant force Shaq was (few are, if any). But he is a solid 6'10 athlete who can play in space. The biggest thing that has hurt his development is he just hasn't had a lot of playing time in his college career due to health issues and injury.

He adds some great depth. He's a big physical body that can spell Reid and matchup with quicker 4/5s. Makes this team more dynamic if he gets into a groove.

That foul call last night when he had a clean block late in the game was bullshite.

This! That was a clean block. As he gets his legs back and more minutes he'll def be a guy we count on heavily during tourney time

This.

If he can stay healthy and work into the rotation for some minutes every game, this LSU team will get even more dangerous.

With him and Justice it’s nice to know we can go 10 deep now especially when we have nights like last night with foul trouble and garbage refs

Shareef is actually a pretty good shooter too. He can give us some really good minutes off the bench for defense, rebounding, and some good spacing. I would like to see him get close to 15-18 minutes a game.

He looked really good. I did not expect that from him so quickly, and was pleasantly surprised.

I want to see him and Eason playing together, along with Days, that should be a load down low plus all 3 can step out and shoot.
If what we saw last night is a snippet of what O'neal can bring, this team just got alot better with his return.

I know Reid has struggled, but I believe later in the year and next year he will really get going. He is just going through Freshman growing pains right now.

Honestly our 2nd team alone of Gaines, Justice, Eason, Fudge, and Shareef would be a hell of a force in the SEC… this team is deep and scary match up for anyone.

He made two strong moves to the basket and scored both times. Much more aggressive than last year!

That’s Jose Vargas, think he missed your point. I find it cool that Jose Vargas openly posts here

With Shareef getting healthy, he'll add an extra edge to our side that needs that from the Bigs. Wish we had Adam Miller's shooting and scoring to go with it. Crazy to think how good this team would be with a healthy Shareef and Miller for the whole season.
