We all seem to agree that Miles strongest gift is recruiting.

We all agree game plan / game management struggles are real.

What seems to he the sticking point is how easy is it to recruit here. Either there is value to what Miles does or there isn't because of the fertile easy pickings. If LSU recruits itself then how can Les screw that up?

I think the difference between now and the dark ages are we are bargin bin shopping for coaches. When Les goes we are going to pay top dollar and hopefully get top dollar talent.

They need to cut his pay in half and tell him we will pay you the other half when you beat Bama. Might make him quit.

I'm no Miles supporter, but why does everyone say this? Even if you could get every kid that you want from Louisiana, you'd still have to go oos to get the rest of your needs any given year and He and his staff have been done quite well with that. We get kids every year from Texas, Florida..etc. Those are not being cherry picked by LSU.

This is a solid point, but can you guarantee we would get someone that could out coach more?

Jimbo would have been nice not sure how many x I would give him.

The les replacement plan needs to be hashed out. Needing 15m and boosters running their mouth as Sexton turns their head isn't it.

I hate to say les won they need to possibly plan with him.

ut an "x" in front of the games that you think LSU will out coach our opponent:

But that's only part of it though right? Getting the best talent to campus and then developing them such that they're better players than their counterparts is part of coaching too, right? The whole point of the OP is the question of why the anti Les faction take this very important part of coaching as a given.

Exactly

I don't have a problem replacing Les you do it with a plan you don't get caught with your pants down and go bare arse for the week while you scrabble to make plan A work BC it is the only one you have
